The Paris Block and the Annex are located within half a block of the new Woodwards Development on Hastings Street in Vancouver. This project melds the ca1907 Paris Block with a modern sibling that will be complete late in 2009. There is a total 45 live-work suites in the project, 29 of which are brick and steel-beamed heritage suites, 16 of which are modern concrete and glass. The Paris Block was home to Pierre Paris shoes, maker of specialized boots for the logging industry, for over 70-years.
The retail frontage is a 1500 square foot space with 15-foot ceilings behind a heritage façade. The Paris Annex will have 2500 square feet in a modern space with 16 foot ceilings, a mezzanine, and a modern glass façade.
