Revolver Coffee fires up Gastown

Revolver Coffee - Gastown

A new coffee joint in Gastown is making waves in the city. Revolver Coffee opened its doors in September and has since generated some serious buzz from Vancouver caffeine enthusiasts.

What sets Revolver apart from most coffee shops is that all beverages are made-to-order. Revolver takes its coffee seriously. Customers first select from a number of beans and then choose from one of a handful of brewing options. If you’re not a coffee nerd, don’t fret — the guys behind the bar are happy to explain your different options.

As for the food, Revolver keeps it simple, offering just pastries. We recommend the croissant, an excellent pairing for your coffee.

Revolver’s interior décor is also worth noting. A giant world map decorates one of the shop’s walls, and the shop’s seats appear to be suspended from the ceiling.  The atmosphere inside is intimate (the shop seats less than 30 people) but also roomy and bright, thanks to the high ceilings.

The addition of Revolver in Gastown is helping to establish the area’s reputation as a dining and shopping hotspot in the city.  Located at 325 Cambie Street, just a few blocks away from 21 Doors, Revolver is just one of the many unique shops in Gastown that makes the area one of Vancouver’s most exciting locations.
